Our service team are responsible for performing installations, testing, servicing, calibration and repairs on a multitude of company products both within our workshops and also at our customer sites.

Administration Key Objectives:

  • Establish rapport with all customers and suppliers by answering & responding to all telephone calls, emails and faxes in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to internal departments by organising in and outgoing freight, raising sales and internal jobs, creation of purchase orders for sales and stock orders, and the creation of invoices for all jobs where required.
  • General office administration including providing accurate data entry and creation of reports.
  • Completion of end of month processes and reports within the given time frame.
  • Reconciliation of bank and petty cash statements and accounts receivable.
  • Customer service and reception duties.

About the role:
We are seeking a driven and motivated Service Coordinator who is prepared to put their skills to the test in a diverse and challenging environment.

Key objectives include:

  1. Coordinating and following up on customer enquiries and ordering for services and spare parts.
  2. Ensuring our regular customer services are conducted efficiently and on time.
  3. Assigning service technicians their day to day jobs which include regular services, breakdowns and repairs.
  4. Creating job cards, allocating parts and purchasing items as necessary.
  5. Processing timesheets.
  6. Ensure open jobs are followed up and actioned regularly and sign off on service jobs for invoicing.
  7. Maintain minimum levels of critical spare parts.
  8. Organising incoming and outgoing freight.
  9. Arranging and coordinating subcontractors as required.
  10. Processing, updating, costing and invoicing job cards as required.
  11. Monitoring and maintaining service related stock levels and components.
  12. Maintaining customer [Capital], supplier and company records especially on service specific job cards.

While experience in the weighing industry is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement as training will be provided where necessary. As long as you have experience in a relevant industry and are willing to learn, be fit and capable of lifting test weights.

Candidates possessing existing mechanical knowledge (automotive or electronic hobbies) and experience with hand tools will be preferred.

We will support you with on the job training and formal training to ensure that you become a fully qualified Electrician with skills such as Robot Programming, PLC Programming, Safety Programming, Control Cabinet Wiring, Dynamic Laser & Vision Measurement & Detection System Installations, and so much more.

We are specifically interested in candidates who have already completed or currently completing a pre-vocational/pre-apprenticeship program in Electro-Technology.
