AccuWeigh has recently completed a new 20m long weighbridge installation for Remondis at Willawong, an outer southern suburb of Brisbane. The new weighbridge is a single-range, 60t capacity weighbridge utilising the AccuWeigh model IT1000 digital indicator which has an RS-232 output string to integrate with a third-party software application.
The weighbridge installation also includes a 120mm high, super-bright, red LED remote display which can be read in all types of light levels, including midday sun. The weighbridge operator is also able to manually control a red/green traffic control light, at the entry end of the weighbridge, to regulate traffic flow and a boom gate at the exit end of the weighbridge adds further traffic control and security.
