On Thursday the 9th of March 2023 we officially opened our operational doors to the Northern Territory, with a very welcoming reception.

This is a very special occasion for the Diverseco team, as we now have a footprint in every mainland state in Australia. This in conjunction with our partnership with the Advanced Manufacturing Ecosystem Fund (AMEF) and the Northern Territory Government, marks our journey of pursuing lifting automation capability through advanced technology deployment for the Territory.

We had an eclectic mix of speakers who all showed keen interest and excitement in the future collaboration between Diverseco and various industry and government bodies to improve the Territory’s manufacturing capabilities.

Through these partnerships and collaboration, we look forward to:

  • Providing showroom facilities to Darwinians and visitors to engage with and learn about measurement and automation solutions that are integral to Industry 4.0.
  • In partnership with Charles Darwin University, developing four new micro-credentials courses relevant to robotics and automation, and specifically tailored for the Territory.
  • Bring more jobs and professional opportunities in manufacturing, automation, and robotics technology to the Territory.
  • Having an operational sales and service office stationed in the Northern Territory.

Brenton Cunningham, Diverseco Managing Director, relayed to the media on Thursday:

“Diverseco seeks to continue to create automation solutions at the edge of possibility, increase skill capability, create pathways for youth which futureproof our workforce, and support early-stage concept and proof of design pilot research projects in advanced manufacturing.”

“Diverseco’s customers will continue through on-the-ground Territory delivery now. We are pleased to also bring our highly regarded national and international supplier network into the Territory with us as we continue to support the vision towards industry 4.0 progression.”, states Brenton.

After the announcement we were keen to showcase the Measurement and Automation solutions we are bringing to the Territory, with a few key solutions of note on the day: collaborative robots (cobots), checkweighing systems, packaging automation, and dimension-weigh-scan technologies, to say little about all of our other expansive solution areas and capabilities.

We’re honoured to be a part of such a momentous occasion and to have been selected to assist in the empowering and transformation of the Territory’s manufacturing and education sector.

We thank each and every one who attended the event, and for the very warm welcome into your wonderful Territory.
