On the 22nd of November we held our very first Diverseco Open Day, showcasing the newly available Weld Mate 355 cobot welding unit. The Weld Mate 355 is one of the most revolutionary additions to the manufacturing space and one that we are all too proud to put on display at our facilities around the country.
We were delighted at the amount of interest shown in the Weld Mate 355. It couldn’t come soon enough, as well, as the country-wide (and really, world-wide) shortages in skilled and reliable human welders has been a problem increasing in severity over the last few years, and the Weld Mate 355 is the solution to this.
What we were keen to communicate to attendees was how these cobot welders are not designed to replace your own human welders, but rather to augment them. They are ideal for a range of menial tasks (low-mix, high-volume) that allow your skilled human welders to perform the tasks for which they are best suited: complex, low-volume tasks. Or, really, whatever you want!
We enjoyed showing attendees how easy it is to set-up a weld (in the above case, a straight-line weld) with the Weld Mate 355, in addition to supporting your welds with the out-of-the-box table tools and supportive instruments.
