AccuWeigh WA have installed a solar powered weighbridge for a Gascoyne region council at their Browns Range landfill site which included a full civils supply for the earthworks, concrete foundation and deck plus preparations and installation of the included weighbridge office.
The office is a portable building, sourced from an established Perth company, which included bathroom and other facilities as required. The office is also housing the controls and battery storage of the included solar power system, designed to enable the weighbridge to operate without external power for the life of the asset. The solar power system’s phot-voltaic panels are mounted on the roof of the office and the system includes a facility to recharge the batteries in an emergency.
Part of the project required a data collection and ticketing system and this need was satisfied using our Ticket Aid Pro + Council weighbridge software solution which was supplied and installed on a PC supplied by the council specifically for that purpose.
