Diverseco has supplied one of its Shipping Container Scales to a reseller that has installed the Scales at a Queensland stockfeed supplier. The Scales were calibrated using a combination of 2t test masses and pallets of product.
Diverseco’s Shipping Container Scales typically have a general purpose weighing area at its centre allowing pallets and other general items to be weighed, although the Scale’s primary purpose is to weigh 20 foot shipping containers to ensure they are loaded optimally prior to transport, as well as to confirm loads that are received in shipping containers.
An optional safety barrier can be provided with our Shipping Container Scales and is typically installed in front of the Weigher to protect it against knocks and damage from the loading vehicles. A safety barrier was not supplied with this installation however.
When connected to an intelligent digital weight display, the weight can be transmitted to other systems such as a PC network for analysing and processing by office staff.
