To ensure minimum disruption to their security process, a high profile beverage manufacturer recently chose the AccuWeigh Drive&Weigh 8000 Weigh-in-Motion axle weighbridge system for installation in their Perth-based distribution centre.

Along with the standard equipment the supply also required AccuWeigh to include an RFiD system to automate the vehicle identification process as well as traffic signals to enable effective control of the exiting vehicles.  Augmenting the customer’s security and despatch systems, the Drive&Weigh 8000 requires no operator input, other than collection of the weighing ticket to pass to the driver of the exiting vehicle.

Another real benefit of the system is that the vehicle does not need to stop when weighing, therefore not adding to the time it takes to process an exiting vehicle.  The system is also connected to the site network to enable data collection and reporting from remote locations within the site or other locations within the organisation.

The Drive&Weigh would benefit many warehouses around Australia to ensure their exiting vehicles are legal and safe. The weighing platform is an in-ground design and is a very economical alternative to a full-length weighbridge.
