An AccuPak fully automatic packaging line was recently installed and commissioned for a large, central Queensland mineral sand supplier. The packaging line is suitable for 25kg to 50kg bags and performs all stages of the packaging from bag selection, bag closing, placement on a pallet and pallet wrapping.
As this mineral sand supplier had to meet stringent safety requirements, the same as those imposed on mines, dust control and extraction was paramount to the selection of an AccuPak packaging line over other competitor systems.
The fully automatic packaging line utilises world-class equipment from various international manufacturers to combine to form a highly efficient and accurate system. AccuPak already has a great depth of experience with installing and integrating this equipment from previous packaging line projects
The international manufacturers include Technipes, Fuji Robotics, Newlong Industrial, DNC. AccuPak also manufactured all of the conveyors, the pallet dispenser and the slip sheet dispenser at its Perth manufacturing plant in Western Australia, as well as designing the system from the ground up based on this customer’s specific needs.
AccuPak also manufactured and supplied a bulker bagging machine for filling intermediate bulk containers, providing a secondary line of supply for this mineral sand supplier.
