AccuWeigh’s Queensland branch recently sold a heavy-duty horse weigher to a Gold Coast Turf Club. The horse weigher was fabricated by AccuWeigh’s very own fabrication workshop, located in Geebung, a northern suburb of Brisbane.
AccuWeigh Queensland has been fabricating these animal weighing scales for many years and many have been supplied to race tracks, horse clubs and stables throughout Australia.
Key features that set this horse weigher apart from other, lighter-duty models include:
- A synthetic grass surface to calm the animal during weighing,
- Side rails as standard to guide the animal over the weigher and ensure the handler’s safety,
- Choice of digital weight indicator so as to enable the range of functionality desired by the club or stable, and
- Rigid basework construction.
Having its own fabrication workshop enables AccuWeigh to manufacture custom weighing applications to suit unique sites and unique weighing needs.
