AccuWeigh recently won a tender for the supply of a shipping container scale for the Porgera Joint Venture Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea. The container scale is to be used for measuring containers during the loading process.
The weighing electronics feature the AccuWeigh IT8000E which has a specific software program to enable the operators to enter the required data which is then transmitted to the site data collection system along with the weights of the container.
Our shipping container scales solution also interfaces with large digit remote displays so the operators have a highly visible weight reading to know how the loading process is going. AccuWeigh custom-made the weigher to the customers’ requirements that included specific painting systems, and increased safety for operators.
