In this thoroughly engaging video, Kawasaki Robotics’ KTV team demonstrate why the duAro collaborative robot can easily automate a wide range of assembly processes.
The duAro’s two co-located arms affords it great flexibility in assembly processes with one arm holding the assembly while the other moves the piece parts into position. This reduces the cost of jigs and other fixtures. Alternatively, both arms can be used to the piece parts to the assembly.
Also, if your parts are loosely organised, the duAro can come equipped with an integrated vision system to guide the cobot picking motions through dynamic process control.
